Lourdes Opens New Medical Building in Hancock, NY

Lourdes Hospital will hold an opening and blessing for its new
Primary Care facility in Hancock, NY on Monday, September 27, 2010,
at 12:00 noon. Tours and light refreshments will be offered for the
public from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM.
The building, named the George A. and Margaret Mee Medical
Building, located at 39 E. Main Street, Hancock, is part of a city
redevelopment plan which maintains the consistent architecture of
the village. The new building doubles the space of the former
Lourdes Hancock Practice, adds more examination rooms, radiology
services, and integrates access to the Mission in Motion Mobile
Mammography Van and the Lourdes Primary Care Van.
The Hancock community fundraising effort was led by the
"Shoulder to Shoulder" Committee and major contributions to the $2
million project were made by the George A. and Margaret Mee
Foundation and the Lourdes Foundation.
