Lourdes Hospital Helps Families in Need

Each year, Lourdes Hospital's Christmas
Mission Project helps to make the holidays a little merrier for
families in our area by providing them with gifts and the makings
of a holiday dinner. Lourdes employees and departments "adopted" 91
families, benefitting a total of 604 adults and children. Twelve
additional families were adopted by various departments at Lourdes
independent of the project itself.
Lourdes Staff from various practices
and clinics began identifying families in need during the
fall. These families were closely matched with the departments in
the Hospital that were interested in adopting families. The
departments purchased gifts, gift cards, and food which are then
distributed to the families. Approximately 93 departments,
organizations, and individuals helped Lourdes in this project to
fulfill the hospital's mission of caring for those it serves.
