Now Accepting Applications for MASH Camp

Students from Broome and Tioga Counties have the opportunity to
spend two days in the real world of hospital health care February
16 & 17 at Lourdes Hospital. M.A.S.H. (Medical Academy of
Science and Health) Camp is open to 8th and 9th graders. Students
participating in M.A.S.H. camp will be attending workshops and
participating in activities to learn about pharmacy, diagnostic
imaging, radiology, surgery, social services, respiratory therapy,
and more.

the camp is $20. The application deadline is January 19.
This two-day camp is co-sponsored by Lourdes Hospital, the
Central New York Area Health Education Center (CNYAHEC), and
Excellus BlueCross BlueShield who have partnered to address a
mutual goal of alleviating the shortage of health professionals in
Central New York by encouraging young people to explore the health
professions.
